Brandy Newton

Brandy Newton is a singer-songwriter, horsewoman, hairdresser, and small business owner based in Boyup Brook, Western Australia.

Brandy has worked in the hair and beauty industry since 2005. As an independent stylist, she specialises in natural, low-tox hairdressing, caring for her loyal clients from her boutique country studio in Boyup Brook using NATULIQUE products.

Alongside her salon work, Brandy is passionate about supporting regional hairdressers across Western Australia, delivering education and mentoring for NATULIQUE to help salons create healthier, more sustainable businesses without compromising on results.

She is the co-founder of Rising Star Horses, a boutique stud specialising in coloured American Quarter Horses and Paints. Her work includes breeding, stud management, starting young horses under saddle, and training. Brandy furthered her education in horsemanship and breeding under horseman David Riddle from Texas, USA.

Alongside her work with horses, Brandy is a singer and songwriter. Her music often explores real-life topics such as ADHD, anxiety, abuse, addiction, and animal welfare, using storytelling to open conversations around issues many people face but rarely talk about.

Brandy is passionate about helping people build better relationships with their horses through a horse-first approach to training. She encourages riders to develop patience, awareness, and emotional balance, recognising the role horses can play in personal growth.

She is actively involved in local community events and organisations and continues to share her experiences through her music, horsemanship, and writing.
