Rising Star Horses

The home of beautiful horses

Rising Star Horses is a boutique family-owned breeding program based in South West, Western Australia, specialising in coloured American Quarter Horses and Paints.

Our breeding program is built on a commitment to preserving the quality, versatility and legacy of the American Quarter Horse. We carefully select bloodlines renowned for their athleticism, trainability and temperament, combining respected foundation and performance pedigrees to produce horses that are as enjoyable to ride as they are to admire.

Our horses are bred with versatility in mind, carrying bloodlines proven across halter, reining, working cow horse, cutting, rodeo and racing. We are equally passionate about preserving rare coat colours, including Silver, Champagne, Splash White and Grullo, within well-bred Quarter Horse and Paint Horse pedigrees.

At Rising Star Horses, we believe the mare is every bit as important as the stallion. Our mares are carefully selected from generations of proven working, performance and show horses and are valued members of our family, enjoying large paddocks and a relaxed, natural lifestyle.

Our breeding program features influential bloodlines including King, Poco Bueno, Leo, Joe Hancock, Doc Bar, Peppy San, Hollywood Gold, Hollywood Dun It, Hollywood Jac 86, Skippin the Bars, Nu Chex To Cash, Colonel's Smoking Gun (Gunner), Dash For Cash, High Brow Hickory, Mr San Peppy, Diamond Sparkle, Obvious Conclusion, Noble Tradition, Touchdown Kid and many more.

As our breeding program evolves, our focus is shifting towards producing quality young riding horses that are well handled, thoughtfully started and ready to enjoy for years to come. We expect to have 3 and 4-year-old ridden geldings available from mid to late 2027.
