My philosophies and ideologies are forever changing as I move through this journey but at the core my values still remain the same, the most important thing to me is the horse; that I continue to listen and learn to show up better for them everyday.

My background is in English riding and hacking but I now find myself having a strong desire for western disciplines. My first trip to the USA in 2017 started a passion for Barrel Racing and Reining.

I believe that all disciplines, English, Western and Australian Stock, all thrive on an English based education with a horsemanship foundation; I find remarkable results in using proven English principles of the aids in conjunction with natural horsemanship to provide a thorough and confident education for horses that sets them up to excel in any discipline.

I have spent much time working on studs, I have studied equine reproduction and have experience in breeding, foaling down and handling young stock.

I really enjoy taking young horses from their first interaction with a human to their first lessons with the halter, groundwork and obstacles and watching them grow and develop into happy, willing and confident riding horses.

I don’t want a machine, I want a relationship, by allowing the horses to be themselves, encouraging their individuality and letting them express their personalities, I find that horses trust me and want to be around me; that is what I hope others will be drawn too, I hope I can help people see that there is so much more when we try to create equality and a partnership.

I have always been drawn to the beauty, trust and freedom of riding at liberty and wish to continue allowing the horses to teach me what is possible.

The horses have been my greatest teachers and mentors, by listening to them I have learned to be open to new ideas and to continue to learn and grow. The horses teach me what they need and how to progress, they teach me about myself and help me to strive to be a better person everyday.

I wish to share my experiences with others and help show people that horses will teach you if you slow down and listen.

They will also help you heal and grow, they are truly remarkable creatures and I am excited to be leaning more into the spirituality of the horse.
